Well, I don't think it's rear ride height. Looks wound right in to me (and a little rusty so I whacked on some ACF50).
I've got a ride height tool if you're close to birmingham. You can PM me if you're too scared to admit it.
That looks pretty well seized, if you can't undo the two nuts ( the bottom nut with the marking all the way around it is left hand threaded) you will have to remove it from the bike to get it to work. Looking at it, the ride height is lower than it should be.
Cheers mate, can't see it being to high though as it is wound right in. Going to do the sag, then the other bits and get a few more miles under my belt is on drier and cleaner roads.
Looks like my 748 and sps did, wound right down to lower the rear height. Whats the front like? How many rings showing?
Cheers Chris, I will get some WD soaking in and when set all the other bits to stock and have a few more rides I might start to rise her up a bit.
Well, looking at them for the first ever time, it depends where you count then from as the head stock is at angle.
maybe the previous owner sought suspension advice from here..........what height is the clutch stack with the extra plate somewhere and has it had the quiet clutch grease soaking?
