I got a set of cams that were advertised as S cams for my matrix but a friend of mine said that they may be normal ones I m abit confused.com, there are some number on the cams see pic so does anyone know if they are S or normal cams thanks
OA-2D? if so then O (Orizzontale) = Horizontal and A (Aspirazione) = Intake, don't know about the 2D?

My 988 was converted to S Spec from new I think, have all the standard parts - I could sell him them all if I put it back to standard, shhhh :Finger:
According to this ebay seller; DUCATI 998 ENGINE CAMSHAFT HORIZONTAL INTAKE CAM | eBay it is a cam from a standard 998.
That looks like the answer to me I think they are standard cams, I bought them to put in mine but I ve managed to get a deep sump instead and was going to sell them but had to make sure before i did, thank you gents
I was talking to another friend of my today and he asked why the cams had been engraved with the number on so next question is that normal as I ve never seen another set ?
