does anyone use these fitbit and how do you get on with it? Fitbit Official Site for Activity Trackers & More
Yes, dont ride with it on tho, the vibration makes it think you are moving...an hour on the multi was 8k steps useful for the sleep mode
If you are any way active then go for a waterproof one, and not the water resistant type, as they don't like too much sweating or being on in the shower. I gave up with the resistant type and bought the one that you can wear to go swimming, also gives you heart rate without a band round your chest and GPS tracking for running. Pretty funny wearing it while using a paving stone whacker, you could see the mileage ticking up while stood still, and apparently I climbed 80 flights of stairs in an hour......, and as Bradders says, not too reliable on a bike
What one do you have that's got a HRM without the strap DucV2? I've got an early Fitbit and it seems to work well in all conditions, wear it 24 hrs a day with no problems. Wife's got the Garmin jobbie which was a PITA initially as the data recording software was full of glitches, think it's sorted now.
I have the Garmin one, I got it to monitor my sleep pattern as was constantly tired. Mine links to phone and I get all my notifications to it I.E. Texts, mail and other stuff. It just vibrates on your wrist but when you put into sleep mode it turns off I don't have the same problem as bradders though. It doesn't pick up the bikes vibrations so does not exaggerate step count when riding
I have the flex, and use it as my daily 0600 alarm too now as it doenst wake the missus. Works a treat
