Back in the day, the Vincent Owners Club was rather like this, a social club. Nowadays Vincents are like Old Master paintings - highly prized, carefully preserved, very expensive, but not ridden much. Ducatis are the modern day equivalent, hence still produced, ridden hard, much loved.
Oh Yeah - I missed that....well, if anyone interested ill throw up some photos when its all back together but currently it looks like this.... Minus the front rad shrouds....oh yeah - the exhaust Is outta there as well....the stocker is never going back on....well, not on my watch anyway....the cat is massive - id guess the whole system weighs in around 10 - 15 kilos...
I'm not really that fussy what people ride. Good forum this, I think, although as it's the only one I participate in I'm no expert. It's by far the best laid-out and most professional-looking. If people misguidedly turn away from the best motorcycle brand towards lesser brands. I forgive them and they are still more than welcome in my book. The fools.
I dont care what anyone rides. Its what theyre actually like that matters.Or at least how they come across. Most on here seem alright to me,with one or two exceptions.
Having joined the forum in Oct and bought a Duc in Nov I have spent far more hours on the forum than on the bike and I must say this forum is cracking. Mostly. FB hardly gets a lookin anymore.
