Not exactly. If somebody gets angry and posts insults, I really don't mind that at all. I am not one to "take offence".

I wish everyone would stop pussy footing about here. The general gist of this is: Please can @Exige, @chizel, @Ducbird and a few of the others who get involved in taking threads off topic and descending into drivel stop it please? I've not got anything against any of you but it does get annoying when half the threads on here are clogged up with your flirting and banter (I'm talking to Exige and Chizel here). Maybe the 3 of you should just meet up and get it out of your systems over an evening in the pub. I love this place, I really do and I've met some lovely people but when a thread descends into 1 liners and desperate attempts for every comment to be funnier than the last I loose the will to live! Peace out.
Irrespective of whether someone has or hasn't been... You're being quite rude here fella. There are things you say in public, things you say in private and lines you don't cross where you're bordering on just being insulting.... You're pretty close to that line in the last 15 mins.

My mouse has a little wheel on top of it. If there's a string of irrelevant banter and one-liner stuff I give that wheel a flick and spool past. Its easy. Banter can be annoying but so can a child singing or someone whistling. They're only doing it because they're enjoying themselves and I wouldn't want to stop that because I'd like to think I'll be in a whistling/singing/bantering mood myself sometime.
Its a hive of activity on here....I quite like it....its probably the most active forum ive been on....and just to put it into perspective (now ive got my zed) im literally posting on my own, talking to myself and the admin on the z1000 uk forum...! which I think is pretty sad, but, there you go! - Although since ive been posting like a champ there are signs of movement on there!
Steve, I don't consider myself to be part of any clique. And yes I agree I did post drivel in the past as I felt that a lot of what was posted in an allegedly "serious" mode (to my mind) was also inane drivel that anyone with a modicum of common sense could find out/sort out without cluttering the site up, and needed pointing out. Anyway here's the rub............I try to leave people/stuff to sort itself out (and that unfortunately means that stuff goes off track occasionally), but then when I feel I have to step in and act to resolve stuff then I'm told I'm being heavy handed. Can you see the dilemma here? And yes I do step in behind the scenes sometimes to try and rein people back. And seeing as it is "behind the scenes" you wouldn't see any evidence of that would you?
The people that have been going off topic have been told not to. The people that have been baiting or abusing people have been told not to, or suffer the consequences. The contentious threads now have a "speakers corner". And to top it off you "totally agree with me here". So what is your point?
I believe I have apart from the belts thread of Exige I just checked my posting history I have had posts deleted for spamming and also locked myself out of the forum for it. I did help out with a track day problem that comesunt was having over the weekend In mobile it does say which area the post is and newbies have posted questions which could have been in relevant areas of the forum not in newbies area I try and steer clear of technical posts and I only banter where I know the person already and I know they will be ok with it
I noticed the help on the thread from comesunt and thought 'Good on ya @Ducbird'. My post wasnt made to upset anyone but its often easier to be specific. I only have 1 person on ignore on this forum (who shall remain nameless) as I am a firm believer that everyone (well....almost everyone) has something to offer. You're the first to welcome new members, a friendly face and I'm 100% certain that you're a good and decent person. Similarly Chizels thread about his black and white bike have been good reading and Exige has lots of knowledge from his builds that I value.....I can't wait for there to be more on the Kawasaki build thread. None of you should be banned or managed in my view as you're not doing anything offensive or particularly wrong. But if you know its annoying to others who use the site it might make life better for all.
I'm a very nice person as those who have met me will tell you I'm not irritating in real life either I'm a hugger and keep the peace type of person I can get carried away with the banter that's thrown at me I love this forum and the people on it your like my family as I'm at home looking after my children and you all make me smile Peace
@Mr.R - On one hand I have Bradders telling me I am being heavy handed, and on the other hand I have you telling me I'm not heavy handed enough. I think I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place, don't you?
