So, We Are Banning People Now Then?

  1. The "Report" button has now appeared, thank you. But not the "Tools" button which somebody mentioned.

  2. Zoom level makes no difference. Seems to have been a programming fault, which Rob has now corrected apparently.

Incidentally, if some forum users are lacking a feature which some other users have access to, how would they ever know?

  3. Good point well made.. I keep getting thrown off and have to re sign in? Happens a lot... Sorry it's gone a bit off topic, but it only happens here.

  4. IMO, there are some very infuriating people on here, not many, who are so far up themselves it's untrue but they can often be the most knowledgeable. Shame they can't just be helpful without being arseholes.

Could accounts be suspended rather than people banned?

What would be good to stop thread creep would be if the OP could remove any posts they don't feel contribute in technical help, builds etc.

    Peace

  6. Odd,how a thread about people going off topic, has not gone off topic.

  7. Nothing to see here. I think we're done

  8. It could be said that some of those that are bemoaning the rise of "drivel" in some threads also post drivel in others eyes.

Perhaps some people need to look in the mirror.

  9. I've never been banned and to my knowledge, no one has me on an ignore list.

    I'm a failure.

  10. Correct. A few post drivel and a few posters moaning about drivel.

In the grand scheme of things it's a few people doing the shouting, and not the majority of members that are making it an issue. Let's put this into some perspective please.

  11. Obviously, different strokes for different folks.Forums fine as it is.I havent noticed to much topic offing.Any techy questions or subjects should be left as such ,though.Unless someone really asks for it.;)

  12. Personally I think that sums it up for me. The moderator is dismissive of people airing their views of the constant drivel being posted in decent threads because he was one of the main culprits but admittedly its a bit better now. Maybe that's why a lot of members never air their true views.

It's wasted breathe because the drivellers can't do any wrong and that'll not change. Just pop them on ignore

  14. What are you deleting my posts for?

  15. Because I would class it under the banner of "drivel" that some people are complaining about.

  16. Hold on a second. So someone doesn't like my posts, you delete them? There is a lot of crap on this site and don't complain, then again, I'm not that type of person. Thankfully I don't subscribe, some people need to get a grip of themselves. Full of their own self importance.

  17. My post regarding 1199's not having belts was relevant to a Ducati Forum and good info for MrR and you have deleted that too?

  19. Wrong thread fella.

  20. I give up, this nonsense.
