  1. Sorry if already discussed - cannot find it - anyone watching the biggest fight for years this weekend - manny the pacman vs Floyd money mayweather - cannot wait to finally see these two go at it

  2. Sky want £20 for me to watch it on TV !!!

  3. sky can go .... themselves. not big on boxing but manny needs to kick loudmouth floyds teeth in. deffo.

  4. Got to be Mayweather but when Manny fought Oscar he was the underdog then and surprised everyone. I'll probably watch the fight on Sky, £20 is actually a pretty small amount given the numbers for the fight but as it's Vegas, I'd guess they probably fight about 6am our time.

  5. Depends if paci can catch him. If he slows him down, he could knock him out

  6. I'm not a fan but I can see the attraction in it.

I was reading the Guardian sport section the other day (it was raining, I was bored) I see Mayweather has had 46 fights and never lost that's quite a stat.

Then Pointless was on (still raining, still bored) question about the highest money earners in sport think it was 2012, anyway, top 2 by a country mile were boxers. If I heard it right the top guy earned nearly double what the top F1 guys were getting.

Just surprised me that's all. If I was a betting man I think it would have to be Mayweather, though he sounds a dreadful character......................I guess beating the shit out of people for a living isn't the best education for the diplomatic service.

  7. I'm not suggesting I'd like Mayweather, but it strikes me that having a controversial image in sport does wonders for your earning power. People remember in-your-face characters and even if you are disliked, you become a bigger draw.
I sometimes think that people deliberately play up to this image to increase their wages. Who is the cricketer most people know? Kevin Pietersen. If he was quiet and unassuming, they probably wouldn't. Max Biaggi was a huge star - in part because of his off-track antics.

  8. i just downloaded periscope.
that is an app from twitter where you can see the fight normally for free in live stream.
never used it before so no idea how good it is.

anybody a idea how late the fight will start?

    henk!!!

  9. Sky has it scheduled from midnight (UK), so I would guess they will touch gloves around 2ish, but I would guess it does also depend on the undercard and how many rounds the supporting fights go.

stats/bookies seem to lean towards a points win for Mayweather, given neither seems to have KOd anybody for quite a while. heart says Pacman, head says Mayweather. not likely to be awake at that sort of hour so not going to pay for it.

  10. Good job he wasn't sparring with me. I'd kill the fucker! Especially with a couple of cans down me.

Seriously though. Points win Mayweather. I hope Pacman knocks the cocky twat clean out but I doubt it.... If I'm home in time I'll deffo be watching.

  11. The fight should of happened years ago.

  12. Bout 0400 UK. So 0500 Belgium. At a guess, and I'm rarely wrong.
