This is my serious point Rob. I have had posts removed by an unidentified intervention, and the reason given is that the posts were off topic . This forum is full of posts made that are off topic but never the less are not personal not rude not aggressive although sometimes humorous. Hence me asking where are the rules of engagement as some of my posts have been removed, yet i am seeing other similar posts that are not. I do recognise that there are others in a similar position and it doesn't seem to be answered. I could also level the same accusation at EL T who i have seen post off topic ( in a similar interest of humour) and they are not removed... just saying like!
Seems like policing the Forum is a lot like policing the country. You try to nudge people towards being law-abiding, here and there, softly, softly, without being overly authoritarian ... and people complain both that there's too much policing and not enough! Who'd be a (forum) cop, huh?
I don't know but I needed a bloody good talking to, constantly posting shite, being associated with the wrong crowd and generally, being a pain. But now I'm a secret squirrel, things have changed.
That would be a positive step for the forum. Have you noticed that those that moan the most, don't even pay a the tiny subscription, less than the average chocolate bar a month! I fully accept that those north of Watford may consider letting cash go this way abhorrent, no names here.
We didn't think you were serious It's off topic in technical or speakers corner anywhere is ok like the lounge
I'm sorry, I've had a life to live over the past 55 hours. What's this particular bitch about this time?
I'm sure i read somewhere in here about treating others as you would want to be treated...........but you have just spoke oceans.....
