@finm, put the cat cleaner in the car, drove it red lined, not through all gears, within legal speed limits. Ticking over at 750, but its stable. Its not jumping up and down. I will keep an eye on it, but seems to be better at the moment. Thank you for the help, very grateful.
cool, try to keep the revs up on it, we all do it, driving with consumption in mind. but just remember its engine load not speed that burns the fuel. in your case it might be worthwhile getting the egr cleaned.
Egr, I will Google. Its a little thing going by the images. Its OK I will figure it out. You've helped loads already.
back right of the rocker box piece o piss to remove, you can by turbo cleaner but looks and smells like oven cleaner. actually you can use the turbo cleaner when the engines running and up to temp. just spray in short burst in to the intake, it;s v.good at cleaning variable rate turbos.
yip, just behind the cablaggio essato.:smile: 2x2 6mm allan bolts+2 13mm headed bolts bolting it to the manifold. haven't worked on the brera but it's the same 24v engine i have come to love.
Ticking over it was jumping up and down from about 500 to 1000. Like about to stall then pick up again. Happened like every couple of seconds.
