Why not swap it with an 1199 owner (cough cough) who may want a tank like that. Straight swap no farting around getting it painted maybe even has Ducati in white(Cough Cough)
Feck me,like busses these red tanks with white decals two come along at the same time,deal done with original owner of tank but if anything goes wrong i will pm you to do the deal,need it sorting next weekend as have a trackday booked and dont want to use this tank without putting ventureshield on it.
Please put it back to the red tank it looks as if you have taken a tank off a red and Ali bike and plonked it on top of a red and white bike and the black Ducati doesn't go either Have you been to spec savers recently :Kiss::Angelic:
I have brushed ally tank on the 848 Evo factory standard, I really dislike it but I like the look of yours and I also like the 1199 with the brushed ally, I agree with another poster get a brushed ally stripe on seat cowl and it will look even better. Think the red and brushed ally looks good together,
White, brushed aluminium, gold and red. Too many colour combos IMHO. Why not simply paint the tank with a white insert?
The tank is brand fire new paint,so out of the question to repaint it,tank is now off the bike and all packed up to be swapped for standard red with white decal,the idea was there but hands up it looked shite,the only way that style of tank would work is with red fairings.
