  15. Just a quick update........the DVLA have finally written to say they've got the application for the V5 and will be processing it on Monday 22nd October. It should then take 5 working days to come through.

    Hurrah for government departments! :rolleyes:

  16. Ask the dealer for a £500 rebate to cover a logbook from DVLA (£25 IIRC) and a private plate so the previous owner cant locate the bike and ride it away in the middle of the night.. Also insist on a full new lockset being fitted.

  17. FFS...is this still not resolved!

    El T you have some patience my man, by now I don't think I'd be still be having civilised dealings with the dealership, probably more inclined to be instructing my solicitor to begin proceedings to put it all to bed. :frown:
