  6. Maybe they read your post on here - they are watchin' you :Watching:

  7. possibly they did say most ducati riders are ....... :Woot: dont think they meant me tho.

  8. just found that yours are interchangeable with 748/916 and forget the urethane versions - hardly anyone makes them now and they are around 5 times the price of stock. [IMG]

  9. nice one, just removed the sprocket piece o piss (i wasnt joking i generally dont work on my own nice stuff due to my o.c.d) i never now when to stop. i will change a bulb and want to renew the loom just in case.. opposite with customers money tho. i will never be rich.
so i guess these carriers just fall out no need to press in. they look intact, maybe just the chain guard has taken a knock?

  10. should be press in on outer dia as steel-on-alum. Some go in easier than others (have Loctited before) but if really loose then carrier worn.

  11. wouldn't say the where lose no rotational play no perishing of the rubbers. tell you what tho the big nut came off easy, using me snapy lecky gun so hard to tell if it was proper tight in the first place.

  12. no wot you mean ^ people overtighten them more than under usually don't they? - it's the 'fear factor'

  13. Where are these from @Chris ?

  14. originals £18 each plus vat from D.G. might just order some any way will need em sooner or later. when you say carrier do you mean sprocket as they just bolt on to carrier. i know, if you want a mountain made out of a molehill just ask fin to get involved

  15. ok so whats the torque figure for the sprocket carrier then?

  16. didn't know which type you had so if outer dia of cushdrive bears on sprocket direct then not so bad as service item anyway - let's get an exploded view up and do it properly  - have to be later tho.. hoping some kind person will do it for us.

  17. look likes this. now that i have spent ten minuets on it without trying to do other customer stuff think that nut might of been loose

  18. ok so you can see the one that 'walked sideways'* with the shiny burr/swarf on it and this is probably first sign owner (Toby?) knew something was wrong when it contacted ###### ? (no idea as still need full picture ideally) On 748 etc * this touches large, chain-play adjuster nut first.

  19. your lucky day if nut was loose Fin - my lucky day last Sunday when found opposite on 851.
