Whats The Gig With These Coosh Drives?

  1. yip, certain now the big nut was loose (i think) will fire it back together later. now that i have found another bit to clean

  2. They'd all walked sideways, this was spotted after the 1st session at Donington the other week, my mates lad said "What are all them shiny metal bits on your back wheel" :Wideyed:. This is exactly what they looked like when I removed the carrier & sprocket  I thought I'd centrepunched the sprocket to stop em backing out and on inspection I had however realised the sprocket was a hardened Ali one and my "punching" hadn't a chance of distorting it enough to work, they'd done a fantastic job of milling the hub down :Bawling: Luckily enough not too much, and the heat (boy was that swingarm hot) doesn't seem to have affected the bearings either :upyeah:, so £100 + from a dealer? ridiculous for what they are but hey ho could've been worse :(

  18. right, forgot i had the workshop manual on the laptop at home.
185nm for big sprocket nut 26-32nm for bearing carrier clamp all cleaned and slight dab of grease when installing. no mention of needing to press the cush drives in to the sprocket just a good tight fit no play.

  19. Job done, commence with the riding

  20. Your Hub is Cracked!!! :Wideyed:.............:p
