are you going to have reconstructive surgery ? its great that the docs can carry out all the work that's required,the nhs is a national institution that we should fight tooth and nail to protect....its only when your really really ill you really realise what it can do ....hope your ok and recovery is quick both physical and mental....gws babe!
Jen, great to see you back, and on the road to recovery , take it easy and enjoy the drugs while you can .
Reconstruction is on the cards,I have to go through radiotherapy first though and then they said it could take 6-12 months before the reconstruction,I can wait...not going anywhere,got a pretend boobie to put in my bra so all ok in the meantime :Happy:

It was only oramorph,but it did the trick,John was pissing himself laughing at my incoherent ramblings .But I do have a good supply of codeine,which is good as my shoulder and armpit hurts like a bastard. In answer to the balance thing,I can walk ok.....I may even to be able to bank lower on that side,who knows?? I will definitely post my findings in due course LOL!!
You need it slightly smaller or slightly bigger as they are never the same size - I feel a poll coming on :Wideyed:
it was quite disconcerting when the breast care nurse came to see me,had a look at my wound then put her hand underneath my other boob like trying to get the weight/size of it LOL,then she came back with what they call a 'softie' which you slot into your bra.It did look a bit larger than my othe boob,but she did say you can take some of the stuffing out......luckily I'm not one of these women who wear tight tops,so I think it'll be ok until I have my reconstruction. But....please...if you feel that a poll is in order,go ahead,can't wait to hear the comments LOL
