Fuel Filter Connection!

  1. OK, I've taken the fuel tank off my 916 and just thinking about putting it back on and I see there's a pipe with nothing connected to it!
This is it in the pic, looks like a rubber pipe or something should be connected to this bit (that I'm pointing at). Should something be connected to this? I don't seem to have any spare or extra tubes that are hanging free and I certainly didn't disconnect anything from it???

  2. It's meant to be like that. It's the atmospheric vent to the pressure regulator. Some applications take s pipe from there to the inlet manifold but it is unused on Ducatis

  3. Cool, thanks Derek. :)

Exactly what I was hoping, just threw me a bit cause there's a nipple bit at the end of it which would typically be something a rubber hose would connect to. That's cool, thanks.
