Mrs DukeSox has recently sold her Monster and has asked me to offer the tail pack on here. It is the proper Ducati one that has a section that fits on to the pillion seat through the bolts that secure the seat. The bag has an 18 litre capacity and can be quickly unzipped from the fitted part. I don't think she used it more than 3 times so it is as new although the over shoulder carry strap is missing. The waterproof cover comes with it but I don't recommend you use it in the wet in case your lovely Ducati disappears in a pile of rust. In case Ducati try to sue me I should point out that last comment was a joke. As is the finish on their bikes some people might say. Not me of course, I love them and have been riding them since 1983 and am on my 8th. Anyway, back to the tail pack, it fits the 696/796/1100 models and I believe Ducati charge £180ish for a new one so bearing in mind she had it for 18 months and hardly used it I`m hoping to get around £85 + tracked postage @ £5 as long as it is going to the UK mainland.
Yep sold. Listed thursday, sold friday, collected and paid for sunday. Very impressed with the forum and thank you to the buyer Pineapple chunk who arrived bang on the agreed time and for a no hassle transaction. Better than Ebay, Gumtree etc for buying /selling anything Ducati IMO.
