Scrambler From Bmw

  1. Looks like BMW are planning to launch a scrambler version of the NineT:

    Cue for Ducati to add a surf board holder to the accessories range??

  4. It seems the name "Scrambler" as applied to motorbikes is not a registered trademark, but simply a generic term which can be used by anybody (e.g. BMW, Triumph). A dozen other manufacturers could produce a Scrambler model too if they chose. This makes it look rather unwise for Ducati to invest so much in their Scrambler marque, if it is a title they cannot control or monopolise.

  6. I'm sure that Ducati know what they are doing and will maximise the potential to gain the brand recognition, like Hoover did.
