1200 DVT Deal Done!

  1. Great service again from the fellows at WM Snells, well worth buying from :)

    White S with urban pack and grips coming my way for Sept new reg...although considering taking in Aug if it arrives and putting my van DUK reg on it later ;)

    Not ridden one, and suspect this one will be a keeper (keeper means last more than 3 years) as other than the height I wouldn't be getting rid of the existing one

    No bike for the summer, as I have said they can have mine now, so guess I'll have to make the most of any track days...sure I'll cope ;)

    Anglesey race weekend end July
    Airfield 2 dayer in early August
    Anglesey again August

    May even buy some trinkets for this one :)

    WHITE !     surely you know the drill by now, red is fastest :)

    Im bet you will be ticking off the days, I'm hoping to test one when the MT needs a service in a couple of weeks.

  8. TBH I checked a couple of dealers, px deal wasn't as good and I'd rather deal with Snells, even if it means a slight delay. Happy to give them my cash (as happy as anyone can be!)

  14. I test rode a basic DVT at Riders in Cardiff today.

    What an awesome engine, uncharacteristically smooth at low revs and power all through the upper range, it was absolutely brilliant!

    Base suspension felt a bit shite, as was the screen, buffeting still dire. But what an engine....did I mention how good it was?

    Plus, despite the soft and wallowy suspension, it felt much lighter and more agile than my PP. It had inch wide chicken strips when I took it out - it didn't when I bought it back ;)

    Someone please tell me a CJS tuned twin-spark machine can fuel like the DVT, especially lower down? Please!?

    Well there one consolation, most of us wont get much riding done until September any way, this year is going to be a very late and not so warm summer. As for me I'll be riding every opportunity I get I've bought a new sponge and 20ltr of fucs aluminium friendly bike wash.Then of to Europe for 3 weeks at the end of August.

  17. Wait till September?? Patience is a virtue! Good choice on the white :upyeah:

    I'm itching with just a week to wait now - white s with touring pack and carbon screen :)
