Hi everyone. I have just sold my GSXR 750 K7 after 8 years ownership. A truely great bike, however ever since first seeing the 1098 i have wanted one so eventually i gave in, sold the GSXR and am now on the look out for a 1098s or a well spec'd 1098. Anyone know of any for sale in the South West, Bristol area? Happy to travel a bit for the right bike, but kid (and wife!) prevent massive travel distances!
webby01 be aware mate, the radiator leak is common, fracture at the hinge/joint is typical.. mine has that issue and due to non fsdh it will set me back the princely sum of £650....not sure that even includes fitting?? i would check that the 'fix' has been done you can have mine for £7500 its a beauty but bit far from you (merseyside)
What's the spec on yours? Colour, S? Termis etc? Does the 1098 suffer the alternator nut issues, with it coming loose?

I have the 1098 with re-mapped ecu and termi ready... but I want the 1199 or 1299 love this bike so much, if your still looking I'l have a think
