I`m starting to find my Guzzi 1200 sport very heavy to manoeuvre , not helped by having a gravel drive but that is not something that ever used to bother me, so considering selling it, (the guzzi not the drive ) and getting something lighter for the longer trips. My other bike is a superlight which I love but not comfortable after an hour in the saddle.
I tested the new MV Turissmo Veloce at the weekend. Very nice but I think I need to borrow one for a day to see if I can get used to a revvy and relatively smooth triple compared to the lumpy twins .
Ha ha, yep I can relate to the faffing about pre ride, "bloody exhausting sometimes". There's nothing wrong with being cautious and over reading the roads, it keeps you alive! Having seen lots of bikers when out in the car, wonders how there still riding. Keep safe, have fun
Well done @mervyn , that 1st ride back is always a little tense, the bike feels foriegn but you soon get into the swing of things and start enjoying it again, small steps mate, small steps .
