1200 Recalls

  1. How do i know if my bike has had any recall work done, UK bike, 2010!

  2. Speak to your local dealer. All recalls carried out should be recorded on the system. Andy

  3. Ideal Andy,
Just the back brake that bothers me as its sooooo bad...

  4. Sadly, I found that recall didn't make a lot of difference so I wouldn't hold your breath. When I can get round to it, I'll be flushing the system through with 660 racing fluid which has made a big difference on my 748. Andy

  5. Search using my name and the word brake in the title...loads of good links and info from everyone in those threads.

  6. Thanks, I will do. Hopefully some good advice to try to get the back brake doing something that resembles stopping

  7. It can be done. Both my MTS1200 eventually had working rear brakes..but it takes a lot of work.

  8. P&H in Crawley sorted my 2010 MTS for me after loads of attempts by Ducati. They put race break fluid in which doesn't boil itself to death being so close to the exhaust. It's been a year now of being able to use the back break for slow traffic and track day corrections.

  9. They are all like that Sir.

    No really, they are :upyeah:

  10. Mine had race fluid in. Bled many many times (by dealer). Was still absolutely (expletive) useless. As ACT says, there is a way of sorting it.
