  1. here here and jolly hockysticks, daft rule.

  2. I note that he was invited to attend. Same old story here, those that can afford tickets are being let in free and paid for by the working people who save up to pay the high ticket prices.

  4. My godson worked at Merc GP last season - general consensus is that Shamilton really is a dick...

  5. Yes, LH was sent an invitation - which stated a dress code. He's such an arrogant dick that he thought he didn't have to follow the rules. Tough... Nice to see that being rich and famous doesn't always allow you to get away with not complying.
It may be a daft rule Finm (that's a completely different argument) but the fact that he thinks rules don't apply to him because of who he is makes him a dick and I am happy to see him brought back down to earth once in a while.

  6. I'd do the same, just to piss the boffs off. Dress code to watch sport?
Who in their right mind would sit and watch a game of tennis anyway? And live??

    I'd rather watch paint dry.

I'm fairly certain the fella is a twat, but in this instance. Good on him! :upyeah:

  7. I find it very irritating that the cameras at Wimbledon have to zoom in on the "great and good" in the audience. Who cares ?

  8. Nothing wrong with a dress code and some standards. Well done the jobsworth that sent him away. One for the CV.

  10. Hello, where have you been :)

  11. "Karma in Hungary" is right - maybe other people have got fed up of his "move out of the way or I will drive into you" attitude...
The total hypocracy of the way he complained about Niko daring to hold his line through a corner, but then still driving into Riciardo shows just how he thinks - "everyone should get out of my way : don't they know I'm world champion?"
Yes, he's fast... but IMO he's starting to get dangerous.

  12. Not really Ha Ha in Hungary was it?

He came out of it with an increased points lead. I can't stand him, but I find F1 less & less interesting (although Hungary was a good race)

Bernie has turned it into a show, way too many rules which stifles innovation IMHO

  13. It was funny when he disappeared into the gravel - I'm just sorry he didn't stay there.
I agree he did well to come away with his lead intact, but IMO Niko was robbed... But hey, that's racing...
My biggest problem with him is attitude - he has basically said in interviews, in as many words, that he is prepared to drive into people. That's just mind-games : some of the other drivers, subconciously at least, are not prepared to potentially compromise their own race if there is a chance that Shamilton will just run them off the road and they will score no points. Lets face it - he's prepared to do that to his own team-mate...
Hungary was a classic illustration of just how close other drives can get to each other without actually crashing - Niko and Kimi, even Fernando and young Verstappen - but somehow LH manages to go just that little bit further and make contact.
As you may have guessed - I'm not a fan...

  14. the phyc out is a big part of racing i am told

  15. It may well be Finm - but IMO he's getting dangerous.

  16. to be fair i rarely watch any racing. but i guess it takes a certain mindset to be a world champion

  17. It does... that's true... or an awful lot of talent...

  18. But did Fogarty ever deliberately run people off the road? Or Rossi? Or Sheene ? Or, come to that matter, people like John Surtees ? Jackie Stewart ? No - it takes a certain kind of person to behave like that...
