  1. As anyone one had any problems with their lights at night and cars flashing. Only been out twice at night and had a lot of cars flashing. Bike had 620 mile service the other day and mentioned it to them and they said it was OK must be the lights as they are very bright.

  2. Hoppo, are they adjusted properly ?

  3. Perhaps your left index finger is fouling the headlamp flasher button every time you use the clutch, so that it is you flashing them, not just them flashing you.

  4. I've mastered that one just got to learn how to start the bike without turning the heated grips on now

  5. I was on holiday often in front of my mate and his new DVT. I noticed his headlights flashing me on several occasions, and it was not him doing anything. Quite dangerous if someone misreads that! He did not believe me,until he was behind a lorry, and could see the headlights flashing by themselves on its rear doors.

  6. Hoppo how heavy are you? I had a problem when I first got my bike. the rear shock wasn't set right so lights were to high.

  7. I get issues of flashing/fog lights being activated, if I run at over 70ish, with the top box on but no passenger or Ortlieb strapped to the back seat. I think the air pressure pushes the back end down, effectively raising up the lamps, which are set bang on when the box is off at similar speeds - my SW adapter plate has a very slight bend in it, caused by this loading (no support arms) - don't know if this may be your problem?

  8. I'm around 14st had it once when on my own and once with the wife and some luggage. Think i'll have to get the tape out on the garage door and set the lights lower when fully loaded.
Did you set the rear shock yourself, if you did how did you do it ?
    Thanks

  9. It's set too high from the factory. Screw the adjuster right it and that will be closer to the correct level. I had my done by an MOT tester with the right equipment. It's right on the end of the adjuster now, and perfect.

  10. Yep I've had it during the day too. Dealer said it was just the super brightness of the LEDs but I think I'll check it.

  11. Had mine re-adjusted as they were too high, and cars were flashing me at night
