I spent/wasted most of today installing the Ducati Performance extra LED light kit, and it doesn't work. The kit is excellent quality with excellent installation instructions, and comes with all brackets and wiring. The lights mount using the radiator bolt and connect into the Fog Lights connector, but they won't switch on. I wonder if it's because the Fog Lights are an optional extra and so the bus system needs configuring by the dealer to acknowledge they have been installed. Any help will be appreciated.
I fitted them on my PP n didn't need to get the dealer to configure them. I did have a problem but double checked all the wiring again and they worked fine, one of my connections was a little loose. Mine connected via the satnav connector
Yes I expected these to piggyback onto the satnav connector, I know that works because it charges my satnav. I liked the idea of being able to switch them off using the fog light switch on the left hand switch assembly.

Th Thanks Scaraman I hope my local dealer knows how to use a configuration device, thought they might've mentioned this in the instructions.
I fitted mine in May. The loom that I was supplied needed to have a polarity change (email to dealer) Was very disappointed when they still wouldn't work. After contacting my dealer they found that they need to be set on their computer. All good now
