1200 DVT Auxillary Lights

  1. Am I correct in thinking that the auxiliary LED lights are the same as the previous versions, but do they only mount on the crash bars?

I like the way they tuck away under the lights on my 1200 S and I'm not a big fan of those crash bars.

The 'configurator' shows them in the normal position...

I'm thinking about a white S version with heated grips, top box and lights (so choice in the 'packages' don't really work for me)

  2. They come with brackets to mount directly to the bike. I've attached a pic of mine.

  3. A new bike buddy! Very naughty!

  4. Thanks for the advice, glad I can fit them as before.

Sounds like I might need a new wiring loom (I butchered mine) and a dealer setting to use the fog light switch rather than the handlebar one I have currently.

Not yet Pete!! But nothing wrong with some forward planning.

  5. You'll need new brackets as well as they are very different. It's only the lamps that are they same.

  6. Thanks, might be as easy to have new ones fitted and sell the old ones on here then.

  7. That I might do however a month before I took the aux lights off my old bike one of the LED units failed. This isn't that good given that they were nearly two years old and the replacement lamp unit was over £150. So I think I might keep the lamps as spares.
