  3. mate you have know idea just how much pleasure i have had in the past after filling up,drinking up or eating out then presented some real pound stirling. too be fair nobody has refused them. just a few grumbles.

  10. nice one. dont really no the area and never on a bike. ayr to dunfries aint to far looks good on a map. might make the lakes right enough.

  13. put your foot down, you could get to Sangette, and feel amongst friends.
     
  14. I have never had a problem with Scottish notes north of Kendal.
     
  15. When are you coming down Fin ? maybe a northern England southern Scotland Ducati Forum meet ?
     
  16. There's a good run through the Galloway forest South from Craig to Glentrool. I've only done half of it as the snow got too deep in March last year when I was headed to Portpatrick for St Patrick's day. If you make it to the lakes the road that runs past Buttermere and over the Honister Pass is nice if you get the weather. Slightly fewer cyclists than you'll find on Hardknott his time of year (I'm cycling it on Monday after scafell on Sunday which follows swimming wastwater on Saturday :Nailbiting:. Not my idea. I have a very enthusiastic friend that doesn't drink enough).

    The ice cream huts next to Windermere at Ambleside do a 99 dipped in melted chocolate:upyeah:
