  2. Cant see you can nick the rear, well unless you get real brutal with it
     
  3. When you say securing I assume you mean by key? Nearly all bikes (don't know any that don't) only secure the front with bolts and the rear by lock

  5. No fixing at the back? What stops it just lifting when riding then?

  7. Ahh I forgot my seat is in the normal position and not a low seat, a normal seat, I am short really short so if someone needs a low seat well must be a dwraft :(

  9. You're missing a part. There is an additional skirting you fit on the underside of pillion seat that seals that gap and holds the rider seat down.

  11. No. The older model's lower seat just as less padding. The DVT's adjustable position uses different spacers/mounts to change height; but still using the same seat. Hence the gap between the rider and pillion seat.

    The instructions make it look complicated. But as part of the delivery briefing, your dealer should have demoed to you how to do it.

  13. You should have been given the skirting piece, go back to the dealer, my dealer put it in the pannier after explaining what it was for.

  16. yes, a metal guide to check travel distance was in the kit, i think there is a contents list in the manual or somewhere

  18. Its these little details that make a difference. There is a bike handover briefing that dealers are suppose to perform when buyers come to collect. It includes how to change modes, setting and using PIN code to start, adjusting seat and using accessories like Pannier/Topbox mounting etc. Because I know my dealers well and its my third Multi, I'm more lassaire with them and I figured out the electronics myself while waiting for them (May was a busy time!)

  20. Where did u get yrs? I know some dealer chains tell porkies re warranty cover. Most are great when it comes to selling. Not so good afterwards.

    The few around SE has been talked extensively. I speak up for mine, Pro Twins in Godstone.

    Aylesbury has a gd rep. Norwich just opened their franchise so will be keen. They seem nice but never used them. I believe they're the only or or two in East Anglia.
