just wondering do you need any special tools to do the seals in the 06 999s front ohlins forks? also is it a straight forward job? cheers
Try cleaning the seal first. I had what I thought was heavy weeping from the RHS fork seal - made my own seal cleaner from a milk bottle, and now its perfect again! Google Seal Mate and have a look.
cheers mate, ive just bought one after reading this, considering the milage the bikes done theres a good chance its just a speck of dirt, nice one mate
This is just an update that hopefully may help someone else out, after getting advice on here I went and bought one of the seal mate thingys and gave it a go, to my surprise ive now done around 600miles and the seal is still leak free, its perfect to be honest, not often something so simple/ cheap works, so thanks for the advice. cheers jack
