Just 2 weeks into the new DVT, so new it's actually registered as a 2016. Really enjoying the upright riding position. I've ridden Honda VFRs since 1990 and traded in the VFR1200 for the Multi. I've got the touring model, red. After 5 years with the shaft drive VFr1200 I'm actually looking forward to getting the chain maintenance tools out again (actually still on the shelf where I left them 5 yrs ago). Something to actually do. The VFR1200 and DVT have similar rear wheel horsepower but so different in the way they dish it out. The VFR is so linear and smooth, the Multi (touring - engine high) has some slightly weaker spots, if you're not in the right gear, and some insanely hard pulls. My right foot keeps flying off the peg. Really happy with the bike, love the tech, and best suspension I've ever owned
Where in Canada are you? I rode a hired BMW GS from Vancouver to San Francisco and back in 2010. Great trip. So good I went back in 2012 and rode from SF to the Mexican border and back. Planning to ride Tail of the Serpent on the USA east coast next. Hope I can hire a Multistrada for that. I have a 2013 Skyhook and love it, but will trade up to a DVT next year. Must be some great rides in Canada?
