The assertion that he is a knob is not related, specifically, to what he said on this one particular occasion; although what he said is a good illustration of how he thinks.
His general demeanor and attitude are why he is considered to be a knob...

Fair enough - he drove well, and won.
His body language after the race spoke volumes though - turned his back on both Niko and Romain Grosjean before the podium, and stood on the step during the interviews to make himself taller than the others. It's all psychological mind-games, and it's all bollox...
