Picked up a Sachs shock from a 999. Its got the gold gas tank. (My barn find 749s shock is in sh!t. Quite literally). The sachs shock i got is quite new, only 4k mls on it but the owner took spring off for himself. Can anyone tell me what diameter / lenght spring i need to get? Im having dufficulfy trying to get the right size - i dont know what one to search for basically. Cheers !
No...something tells me you are at me... I can nab a spring for my weight but need to know size as spring suplliers cant help
Ohlins sticker got me at it there. That'll be off a 749base or possibly a 999dark if its sachs. 999 and 749s has showa.
Tks. When i spoke to two places, neither could confirn what spring size i needed. (Sticker was on it)
