i've got a 94 600ss which i use for trackdays mainly,i've put linear springs in front via advice from nog,was doing trackday last weekend and geezer i met who is involved with des/due racing suggested i fit 900ss shock which is 20mm longer and will give me quicker steering i dont disbelieve him but anyone else done this with good results ? was also thinking of getting shock rebuilt to suit my fat arse at same time ta chris fattaff
I think you'll find he's referring to a shock off a 900ie which is longer than the carby shock. I added one off a 800ie on my 900 and it made the turn in a little bit quicker.
