848 Evo Or Multistrada

  1. I haven't got a friggin clue !

I 'did' want another Ducati but my limited funds narrowed my choice so I was tempted by a 675R and got offered a lovely one but it was a million miles away.
I then got offered a new MV F3 800 for only £90 a month on a pcp, a price no one in the country could touch.
They look lovely but read conflicting reviews.

Seen an 11 plate 848 Evo in white with full Termi system for £6k but it needs a full service.

A Street Triple, S1000R, Tuono V4 were also considered but then I 'decided' on an 848 Evo or Multi.

Now I back to being confused, not that way confused though !

  2. Not enough for a multi in my opinion. 675r is a cracking bike and I'm sure you could hold off for a more local one. What sort of riding do you do?

  3. Always done Sunday and the odd weekday 120/150 mile blasts through the local twisties.
I was worried after always having a sports bike that jumping to a Multi or even a sports naked would be a shock to my system but it seems a hell of a lot of people are changing over these days.

  4. It won't excite like a sports bike, but you will cover ground as quickly and easier with bit of comfort

  5. I love nakeds. I'm completely sold. KTM 990 SMR changed me from sports bikes completely. Unless you're talking straight line, you'll be just as quick, on really twisty you'll be even quicker. In fact for £6k I'd probably end up with a KTM supermoto myself. More comfortable, more versatile. Realistically, unless your on track, nakeds make more sense. Potholes and all that too.

  6. Nice selection, what was your favourite? Not the best, but the one you loved the most?

  7. One of these two,
