  7. Farknell Pete..........I must be older than I thought..........

I reckoned there was only one year between us.......

.....Oh well, that's good news if I'm actually a lot younger...........

After all, one year less than two makes me 50% younger...........

Enjoy being a pensioner, old man.......

  8. Well done,
Happy days and some spare cash as well,
Im looking for a Dainese jacket like yours, very smart,

  9. By a strange quirk of the language, although addressing someone as "boy" is quite offensive, "old boy" is actually less offensive than "old man". So feel free to call me Old Boy.

  10. We could abbreviate it to OB, but then some might get the wrong idea ;)

  11. The Dainese suit is very good and well made, except that the jacket has only one pocket (inside, for a wallet), and the trousers have no pockets whatever. I have to keep stuff in a waist-pouch.

I ordered it direct from Italy and it reached me from Dainese Milan in three days. The UK dealers seemed to offer a poor service, lack of choices, and high prices.

In my size (6ft 2in) it was only available off the peg in black, as you see it. Other colour options exist in hobbit sizes.

I expect this suit to last me for the rest of my days.

  12. If people are already calling me Old Man, I'm sure as hell not making you any younger than me.......;)

  13. I think you'll find everybody is related to Cliff Richard as he's that old :)

  16. I would like to thank all of the working population of the UK who allowed me to retire with a pension at the age of 45. That was 11 years ago and I have been spending the money wisely, I moved to France so as not to be a burden on the NHS and filled my garage with bikes as there is no road tax or MOT on them here.

  17. Congratulations Pete, I'm only a couple of years behind you and looking forward to my £200 heating allowance this November.
Yesterday I got my state pension review and was relieved to see that I am entitled to a full state pension in two years time after I have already contributed 47 years NI.
