  2. But a forum is the place to ask advice! Another site I was on had a specific forum for all other chat, if any waffle ended on a tecnical post it was deleted by the mods. It might seem heavy handed but it kept the technical database bang on, and nice to use. The chit chat stayed in the 'Bar' area and if you didn't want to read it you just didn't go there!

  4. I think it's the banter in technical threads that annoy people I can understand that it
    I don't think anyone is suggesting the locals go away or we don't have fun but just sometimes watch where your posting
    This forum has had an influx of newbies of late and I'm sure it's because of the banter and friendliness and I would like to think we have one of the best forums in town

  7. It is frustrating, but plenty of the technical threads are;
    wrong, badly explained, incomplete, are model sensitive, unanswered.
    On the Multistrada's AndyW did a great job of collecting the best of advice and aggregated it on his MTS site.
    This site needs a better search facilities. It's all down to time from those that run this site for free.
    I'm doing my own research on porn sites to see if we can learn any lessons on keywords etc.
    I'll be back once I've finished, should be back by 10.
