I'm on a few forums and this one is usually one of the least argumentative.

I have never bothered to "ignore/block" anyone as it feels a bit like ignoring someone in the playground.

Some forums can be intimidating for newbies. This forum has been the opposite and very welcoming. I do spend a bit to much time on here though . If it doesn't suit other members needs and gets them annoyed I'm sure there are other forums more suitable for them (doubtful though)

My year at school {1983} was the last to be taught typing as an option (aged 13 onward?).
It was mixed 50% with office studies. I mainly took the subject because everyone else in the class was a girl.:Hungry:
Any after a couple of months of typing that teacher said my fingers were too short and fat to be any good at typing, so I had to do double office studies... Probably did my a lot of good in the long term.:Angelic:
In any event I touch type at +65 words per minute which has helped both in this accident recovery and my last roof fall. It also keels people off my computer as it has no legend on the keys.

I have purposely gone off subject to prove that this can make a thread both entertaining and educational.

Double and triple carriage return (lever) automatically puts one or two blank lines in when you hit the large chrome bar to bring your paper and roller mechanism back ready so that the next key you press puts the letter at the left of the page:Bookworm:
