  1. Where would we be without Lakeland?

  2. About £1.04 worse off since I paid £12 delivered from eBay.

  4. My Multi started to rust and I didn't ride it in the rain :(
I've read a couple of reports now, that ACF 50 can cause rust or oxidisation anybody know if this is correct ?

  5. I work for a car manufacturer. We regularly do salt bath trials to test corrosion properties on new body shells. I believe something like 12 weeks in these conditions simulates 10 years use in the real world.

That says it all really. I don't let any of my Ducatis near salty roads.

  6. Supposed to be doing the Dragon Rally next Feb and was wondering about this ACF50. It says not to spray on hot surfaces, so does that mean the front cylinder head and radiator can't be coated, or does it mean don't spray them 'when' they are hot?

  7. My monster stayed out doors for two years under a dust cover and a waterproof cover and after washing I sprayed liberally all over ACF 50 she looked as good as when I stored her
When she arrived 1st pic 2013
2nd pic as I sold her

  8. personally I am not prepared to risk it and have paid for All Year Biker to clean and apply ACF50 my bikes that wool be used in the winter.

  9. Yeah, I did that. The pics that I linked to in the thread above were taken the following summer...

  10. Just looked on their site, have a place local, so will give that a go.

  11. did you rinse off after use ?

  12. No; never have with any bike, previously or since. Never has any of my other (Jap) bikes corroded so badly. Steel screws going rusty I can live with, but flaking paint after one winter? Simply not acceptable.

  13. I used a versys for the commute. Used acf50. Rode in salt, snow, rain, grit, shit, mud, seriously at times the bike was caked in it. Cleaned and reapplied, no issues.

Already started coating my new bike in readiness for the winter. It will be used in the same conditions.
