    Down here in the tropics, we still have another month of biking :)

    Speaking of which, must take the 750 out for rubber-equalisation blatt.

    As "summer bikes" are put away and real riders prepare to continue through the winter, whilst laughing at FWR's...

  13. This is holiday season for me. So I'm just packing for my cruise on Wednesday. I will be packing again in Jan :)

  14. Been there, done that. Ridden up telegraph hill in the snow when 4x4s were getting stuck. But no more. Don't see the point at putting my life at risk for the sake of riding all year around when I have my little one to think of. Must admit riding all weathers improved my riding no end but I have a line drawn now.

  15. I can understand that. I'm not saying that I ride every day, or that I ride in really bad weather any more - I'm getting too old for that too - but I don't believe in stopping riding just because it's winter.

  16. I know what you mean. For me personally I don't get much time to ride at the moment and I use the winter to try and get the bits at home done. Leaves me the 3 days of summer to ride.

  17. Ordered and got a new battery on Friday morning, just got to change the front bearing, get an MOT and the 916 is ready for a season of riding in the tropical hazy lazy days ahead, here in zummerset for the next few months.

    What is this " winter" that ye speak of , forsooth?
