  6. The Falklands are aproximately the same distance from the south pole as the UK is from the north pole, so the amount of daylight in summer and winter is pretty much the same.
    And Loz - boredom is usually caused by a lack of imagination :)

    Having said that I'd miss the late summer evenings if I lived in the tropics
