Is it just me, or does anyone else think Americans are just plain weird? I saw something recently that said two thirds of them will flush a public toilet with their foot to avoid getting germs on their hands. This brings several things to mind... 1. They don't want to touch a flushing handle in case someone else has, but are quiet happy to park their fat arse where thousands of other fat American arses have already been... 2. They think there is more chance of picking up germs from a flushing handle than from their own their own fat arse... 3. Just wash your hands FFS ! 4. If there are germs on the handle - it's probably from all the weidos sticking their foot on it...
nah not a tall. i wont touch a bog seat, always lift with me knee, in public bogs i wont touch a handle with me hand.
I don't blame them. Public toilets are generally foul. I'd have to be pretty desperate to use one at all. Worse are the temporary plastic cubicles on building sites and public events. I'd walk a mile to find a tree than touch the door of those things. But if you think Americans are obsessed with hygiene, try the Japanese. They're in a different league.
Apparently on airplanes there is more bacteria on the drop down tray in front of your seat than there is on the toilet seat. I avoid touching both.
It always surprises me how many people don't wash their hands after using a toilet, and my wife tells me that the women are no better :Yuck:
So when so else gives you a wedge of cash for a job Finm, what do you accept it with? How many people have handled or 'stuffed' or 'wiped' that cash before it gets to you ?
I've stayed in American hotels where wc's don't have handles - a sensor flushes automatically - course you've still got to open the cubicle door
i know, i know. trust me, when dosh comes my way it's in the pocket pronto.i don't get time to catch owt. don't forget the three millisecond rule. :smileys:
