Knee clicked and gave way coming down the stairs.........not a problem........ ........until I hit the back of a hard chair and went over it with my arm under me....... .......this is going to be a problem........ ....skin torn in several places and a large piece left up the inside of my fleece......... Gravel Rash?.............Pah!....kid's stuff.
Just got back from having it inspected and re-dressed......... It can't be stitched because the tears are too close together and obviously can't be stitched where there is no skin at all......looks like I lost part of a tattoo as well. Unfortunately, the blood thinning meds don't help because the bleeds won't clot quickly...... Seems as though this is going to take about four weeks at least to heal. Back to the Doc's on Monday for another look and dressing........Some of the steri-strips are stuck to the flesh and not the skin. Bugger, Damn, Blast..........

Yes....... .......well, sort of........ .....the medication I was and am on has caused lots of problems. The damage wouldn't have been so bad if my fleece sleeve hadn't rucked up........the fabric grabbed the skin in several places........ .......does make me wonder what the effect of coming off the bike with leathers and armour on would be like.......it's got that 'airtex' type lining (the leathers, not the bike).
