  2. Seriously? (the fuel consumption bit, I mean). That's just… …bad. And not in a good way. My petrol car gives 22-25mpg around town and 32mpg on motorways and that's with 385bhp and 3.8litres. I'd have thought that a modern Cooper S would be waay ahead of that - what do they weigh, for goodness' sake?

  16. I am sure there is a joke here somewhere but I'm fairly sure plenty women can work gears lol.

    Thinking of female TT racers and race car drivers. I can name a few I've met.
    I don't have an issue giving them respect even if they are not as fast as the fastest guys racing. They would humiliate most average guys.
