i am now certified as of yesterday. hilti were call upon to spec the fixings and they work a treat apart from the speed side of things... i can fire out 100 rounds in 6 mins on average including reloading time obviously but then the gun gets too hot and miss fires so i either have to slow down, go hard and let it rest for 10 mins after every 6 of use or the 3rd option get the cert-ed asian chap to worry bout all that while i carry on cutting and setting/laying out.. i opted for the 3rd choice as im not letting him use my saw (the company nail gun aint my prob!) and he cant read a tape measure... Sounds fucken insane dont it.. cant read a tape.. not in english or any language.. do they have different language tapes? the most insane bit is i have come across dozen of people that cant in the last few years.. worst than that are the fvks that think they can but talk in centimeters.. annoying as hell "yea its 65 wide mate" what you have a 65mm wide window? dont you mean 650? anyhu back on track the gun needs cleaning every 2-300 rounds and we have put about 3000 thru it now and the piston is fvked but we have a spare an have ordered another.. fantastic bit of kit but for a job of this size or larger you need a few of em on the go..
If the gun is getting too hot........... ...........try doing what they did in WW1 and WW2....... .....piss on it.
Not in the desert....... I was a Desert Rat you know..............had to wash and shave in a hub cap using the dregs from my tea.
