The freedom that we consider our strength is seen as a weakness to be exploited by the terrorist. Freedom of movement is exploited to embed jihadis, freedom of speech is used to preach hate. Like it or not our world will change, whether we do nothing or respond, we may have to be prepared to sacrifice some freedom to protect ourselves; I hate having to say that and I hate those who are forcing us down this path.
They were organised enough to kill 129 and maim many more. Whether it is 500,000 or 50,000 or 5,000 who cares, it is still far too many.

How can you expect any sane/rational thinking person to believe there’s "500,000 jihadists on the way" when they couldn’t get 3 dickheads inside a football ground? They actually tried to turn up and expected to be let into the ground without tickets. Any person with a grain of common sense or organisational skills would know that so to claim theyre arranging a mass exodus on that sort of scale is quite frankly laughable (and again, im not laughing at the deaths of 129 people here just to clarify for the people unable to understand that I don’t laugh at murder). Do you not think the logistics of that kind of operation are so beyond their capabilities, its not only a bit un-educated and ill thought out, but bordering on psychotic to claim otherwise? (Furthermore, the main bulk of the deaths in Paris were from random machine gun fire which although hideous in its depravity takes no organisation whatsoever – you can even buy machine guns from white British men in South London as evidenced by the link I provided earlier in the thread)

No. They have just demonstrated a capability that can kill 129 people; what more do you want ? To introduce border checks first you have to have borders that are more than just lines on a map.
Possibly. But stopping all entry by migrants / refugees from Syria, and a few other countries, creating holding camps where they can be properly processed, is a reasonable step. Yes it doesn't safeguard against those that are already here but you have to start somewhere and there can be multiple parallel lines of action.

He simply cannot work it out John....... 7/7: 4 = 52 dead. Charlie Hebdo: 2 = 11 dead Paris concert: 3 = 80 dead On average, that's 15 dead per terrorist, but they are improving on that based on Paris. So 500,000 isn't actually needed, just a small percentage of that.
