Where Should I Live: Personality Test

  1. Shetland Isles 70%, Barnet worse at 57%, 61% where I live in the New Forest but apparently I'd be 2% happier moving to Southampton....

At least I didn't get Tamworth!

    Ribble Valley

  4. Lindsey seems popular with Ducati riders!
Battle was the worse for me. My brother used to live there so I know the area and would agree.
My best area near me would be Richmond. I would agree if I could keep the same land and size of house.
It would make me several million pounds richer :)

  5. Richmond - prob the dearest real estate in UK? On a sunny day the top to try causes crashes!

  6. Sorry that was meant to read top totty!

  7. Funny as I was going to write about view down by the river.
Having a sizeable deposit and a mortgage offer I nearly bought a flat back in the mid 90's on the hill.
Walked into a local estate agents and said I needed off road parking and at least one bedroom. They smiled and asked about my budget. I smiled and said £200k. They frowned saying they only had one property that matched my requirements / budget.....a basement flat!
It was a nice flat...but....I could get three separate flats in Staines for the same money.

  8. I'd like to live somewhere where I don't have to pay £1 to release a shopping trolley.

  9. Go the online delivery route and avoid the masses! Only downside is I miss stuffing down as much chicken satay and eating a pound of grapes while I wheel trolley round

  10. Craven, Yorkshire Dales.

    Best place locally Kendal :upyeah:

As long as it isn't south of Kendal I'm good.

  11. Learned a lot when I visited Kendal - don't try Kendal mint cake if you've got type 1 diabetes

  12. As already mentioned get Ocado to deliver.
Just make sure you have a John Lewis locally (and Ikea, lidl/Aldi are far away) everything else you can get on line.

  13. I'll see you all there then [IMG]

  15. I've just Googled Scunthorpe as I didn't know where it is (somewhere oop north). It has always been a byword for me for hideous awfulness. This is just due to its name reminding me of "scum" and the total mediocrity of its football team.
So now I know where it is and what it does. It looks like the most incredibly boring place imaginable. Is it that bad? It looks as if there is some nice countryside nearby.

  16. Scunthorpe; I am sure there is a joke in there somewhere, but I will leave it to others.

  17. Wikipedia even says that there were issues with the place falling foul of computer spam filters and whatnot because even they got the joke.

  18. I am just hoping there will be no-one so crass and vulgar that they have to spell out the 'joke'.
