I kinda felt the same till I bought it but in the flesh it is just gorgeous , 1098R still just edges it but only just . Was going to track it but it tooo nice so bought this zx10 for that instead Matt
If I have this right, this bike was hanging around for sale for quite a while this year with low mileage loosely south London area? Nice conversion
Yep that's about right I picked it up cheapish & tried to sell it on thinking that a better advert & pictures would work but still couldn't get decent money for it. I guess because of the colour but couldn't bring myself to paint it. might try selling the body kit again next year and either go back to red or go full Carbon,
Interesting, I've heard people say even a degree of colourblindness can be relevant but I think mainly it's the way we are conditioned as the years go by. A Ford GT 40 (great in Gulf colours^) looks wrong in British racing green and so does a Jaguar C type in red.
Don't think gulf colours work on a bike and as nice as the Martini looks it just shouts Gixer to me , if it's a race rep then The Fila 999R is my favourite and I've seen it on a 1098 which looked spot on but if I'm going to sit a look at any bike for any length of time it's going to be the 1098R it's just the best bike Ducati have ever made. Just my opinion thou
