Not while they're KTM, the real deal. If they get bought out by a corporate car giant and become just another marketing brand who knows what nonsense will be done in their name.
I never find myself looking at the new bikes drooling. It's always older Ducati say from 1098r backwards. Progression eh ?
Now you say that, I don't have the finish quality problems that many owners of newer Ducatis complain about. On the whole I think the finish on my SF is pretty good. Certainly as good as any other marque of that year. But mine is a 2010 bike. Didn't VAG take over Ducati in 2012? Am I imagining it or don't most of the problems seem to be on '12 onwards models?
Yep...they had problems before then and don't forget the Ohlins fork issue....not really Ducati fault. Early MTS1200 LED light cluster issues, sticking exhaust valves....not on any schedule to lube!!!
People with check shirts, beards, turn-up jeans and silly satchels are not allowed in KTM dealerships. They devalue the brand and they get thrown out by the bouncers. Quite right too.
