My new front end build for the 853 is progressing and I am now looking for a pair of 848 wheels for wets and a pair of 1098, 5 hole, 15mm offset front discs. As buying Showa 1098 forks, an Ohlins cartridge kit and M4 calipers have depleted the piggy bank significantly, my available budget is tight. You will however be pleased to know it hasn't got to the stage where I'm having to raid the Wotsits and chocolate biscuits - just yet. Andy

Thanks Glenn I remembered that, unfortunately I have a small rear axle so the 1098 rear won't fit and I doubt you would want to split them. Andy
Thanks for that but I'm afraid my budget is unlikely to stretch to the cost of new wheels. Just looking for something with 5 hole disc fixing that I can put my track wets on once the new front end is finished. Cheers, Andy
If you need 320mm dia discs. 749/999 ones will fit and are cheaper to buy. I am aware that some 1*98 discs are 330mm dia

This looks a bit strange (Pierbon racing frame??) however, it appears that the bike has 848 wheels fitted. He says he has a set of spare wheels/wets for sale so you could contact him and ask: ducati 1098 pierobon framed track bike | eBay
