Hey Taken the mono seat unit off and trying to fit a bi seat I bought off Gumtree. I'm trying to get the rear lights to fit but they don't line up quite right. Do you get different brackets for different seats? Or should one size fit all?
The brackets are different. The one for the mono is flat and the on for the bi (like in your photo) is stepped. I know a mono seat unit will fit on a bi subframe but not sure about a bi seat unit on a mono sub frame...
Is it possible the bits that hold the bracket to the light unit have some sort of adapter to make it work on a mono that needs removing for the dual seat unit?
I've attached the parts diagram of the BP seat. The light unit is the same, the brackets/fittings are all that changes
