Having already had experience of how easy a hydraulic pre load adjuster makes setting up the rear suspension on my 748R based track bike, I am interested to find out if Ohlins do a similar upgrade for the rear shock absorber on the 1098R. Anyone already done it or is familiar enough with the Ohlins catalogue to advise ? Thanks, Andy
I went to school in Yorkshire so grew up a tight git. Took me a long time to realise you just need to say sod it sometimes. Not a lot left to do to the 853 as I'm hoping to confirm on Monday and a man needs a hobby so I've got the 1098R. Andy
I might decide to build a pyramid in the back garden so the 1098R can be buried with me for the afterlife . Andy
AFAIK There's the Mark 1 TTX fitted standard to the 1098R and the Mark 2 TTX with the hydraulic preload adjuster (and differently shaped comp/rebound adjusters).
